Nike releases the Lebron 8 in a color-way that pays tribute to one of the fallen basketball greats, the Mamba himself. Sporting the classic purple and gold of the lakers, these are set to release in the United States on December 30th. While these are designed for basketball, expect them to be highly sought after by players, sneakerheads, and resellers alike. These will most likely release on Nike SNKRS and Tier 0 retailers.

In terms of resell value, basketball shoes are tough to predict. It’s likely that the only sizes with big profit margins will be sizes 10 and up. These won’t be too limited, but will still be difficult to look given how many people want them, especially with basketball season coming up.
